I found a shine
in a smile ,
glow on your face
even when you cry
There is no regret –
in the words you write ,
or the letters you’ve never posted –
Like all the loves you’ve found ,
Loves
you have
Lost it
I have insight in the ways we have lived
Becoming open to the gentle rain –
like a meadows whey in spring
when all is due to be born
You are such gladness
the shadow that will shelter behind the door ,
found in a place that we would cry ,
turns away
To wither and die
You are truly
a listener of your own thought ,
the warrior of wounds
This joy
will ease our fears ,
with a baby
in hand
Hold
Gaze for a while
